JOB DESCRIPTION

Sniffer Robotics is seeking candidates who have experience processing geospatial data for visual information and analytical purposes. The candidate should have experience working in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS online. This person will be responsible for assisting field data collection activities, processing, mapping and presenting during his/her tenure with Sniffer Robotics.

Office location:  SPARK Central Incubator, 330 E. Liberty Ave., Ann Arbor, MI.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create maps and reports of collected data for customers. 

• Create and manage maps for use in Field Maps by field technicians and pilots. 

• Georeference basemaps and digitize features to support field work. 

• Provide technical support in real time for work by the field technicians. 

• Occasional field visits to better understand our business, application, and customer expectations. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Understanding of geospatial data, projections, coordinate systems, databases, and data management. 

• Proficient in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Field Maps. 

• Other GIS software a bonus 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 

• Experience with python or Arcade a bonus. 

• Excellent personal communication skills. 

• Ability to write precise and accurate reports without errors. 

• Associate degree in GIS or sufficient work experience. 

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have dependable transportation to/from work.
