Job Description
Sniffer Robotics is currently seeking a contract employee to fill this position.
Our company is seeking productive and self-motivated field technicians who can safely deliver accurate and high-quality work. Our customers expect us to be efficient, proficient, and professional. If you meet these initial qualifications and enjoy working outdoors, we want to talk with you. Our company provides training to help you succeed in our company and in the industry.
This posting is for outdoor labor. You must be physically fit, able to walk long distances in field conditions, and able to pass a physical exam. This work entails extensive walking in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
Duties and responsibilities include:

While using a hand-held detector, manually inspect to detect gas emissions.

Always be alert – use sight, sound, smell, and communicate, to proactively work safely in all cases.

Properly calibrate, maintain, and care for equipment and devices.

Submit field data and reports using a mobile device.

Submit daily, written reports.

Be flexible and work within a team environment.

Be able to effectively communicate field and operational issues to the team.
Minimum physical requirements

Stand/walk on feet for 10+ hours per day on uneven ground (concrete, rock, grass, mud/dirt, etc.)

Carry 15-20 lbs. of equipment in a backpack.

Walk, turn, bend, reach & pull bodyweight plus backpack weight throughout the day.

Carry additional equipment throughout facilities, up to 100 lbs. (ladders, water coolers, additional monitoring equipment, etc.)

Work in all variations of weather (extreme heat, cold, windy, etc.)
Qualifications

Professional oral and written communication skills.

Basic ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.

Must have a working smartphone with 4G/5G capabilities.

Must be able to work in the United States (eVerify required).

Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.

A valid driver's license.

HS diploma required. Two-year technical degree - college degree preferred.
