Manager, Marketing and Lead Generation
In this position you will report to the Founder and Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for the lead generation process for our company’s outreach to private and public solid waste companies, natural gas, and agriculture clients. We are expecting you to develop the strategy and implement the actions to develop a unique and impactful marketing strategy and robust lead generation process with the goal of developing the brand, translating leads to opportunities, and meeting our aggressive sales goals. The initial market focus is the United States, though activities will expand internationally as we build our international business.

This is a remote position with expectations that the person resides in southeastern Michigan for face-to-face meetings at our offices with other team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn quickly about Sniffer’s emissions monitoring and emissions mitigation solutions for increased gas collection and customer ROI.

Develop and maintain ideal customer profiles for markets and solutions for outreach strategy and qualification.

Develop strategy and fully utilize resources to implement a robust, consistent, and proactive customer and market outreach program to fill the funnel.

Lead current lead generation process, further develop as required with the ultimate goal to convert.

Develop KPIs and provide regularly scheduled management reports to track progress.

Own and evangelize the company brand and purpose via all available resources.

Develop and lead work plans and motivate team members to achieve goals.

Cull and manage all leads obtained through all channels, qualify, and convert.

Develop and manage content including blog posts, social media, email marketing campaigns, advertisements, brochures, etc.

Manage company merchandise ordering and inventory.

Develop, support, and manage conference and exhibition activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful marketing/lead generation track record.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

BA from four-year university required in like industry.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Excellent Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) or similar, and related software skills.

Strong copywriting and editing skills.

Extensive experience in website development, social media, SEO, and marketing outreach campaigns.

Interest and aptitude of working in a startup environment, demonstrated by passion, determination, and teamwork.

Residing in southeastern Michigan with ability to travel to Ann Arbor, Brighton, or Bloomfield Hills on regular basis for team meetings.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Legally able to work in the United States.
